Program Outcomes

Clinical Mental Health Counseling

(a) Number of program graduates from the 2016-2017 academic year: 12 students graduated from our program in clinical mental health this past year.

(b) Completion rate: 90% +. Each year we accept approximately 12-16 new clinical mental health students. Each year one or two students drop out of the program for personal reasons or feeling that it is not the right fit. We do everything we can to make sure the student understands our program through our website and through the personal interview process.

(c) Licensure or certification examination pass rate (as appropriate): This year we had a 100% pass the NCE exam.

(d) Job placement rate. Between 85% and 90% of our clinical mental health graduates report working. This year three graduates are doing additional work in a doctoral program.

School Counseling

(a) Number of program graduates from the 2016-2017 academic year: 6 students graduated from our program in school counseling this past year.

(b) Completion rate: 90% + completion rate. Each year we accept approximately 9-12 new school counseling students. Each year one or two students drop out of the program for personal reasons or feeling that it is not the right fit. We do everything we can to make sure the student understands our program through our website and through the personal interview process.  This past year we had 2 students transfer to our Clinical Mental Health program and three drop out.

(c) Licensure or certification examination pass rate (as appropriate): This year we once again had a 100% pass the Praxis II exam.

(d) Job placement rate. Between 85% and 90% of our school counseling graduates report working as a school counselor or some other type of counselor. This year 100% of our graduates are in counseling positions.
